PLANNED OUTAGE

Dear Customer(s),
There will be a planned outage as scheduled by the Transmission Company of Nigeria to carry out maintenance on shiroro 1 & 2 lines on the 27th of February, 2021 between 10 am and 5 pm.
This will subject our feeders to serious load shedding within the period of the exercise.
The Management of Jos Electricity Distribution Plc based on the above call on her esteemed customers within the affected areas to bear with the company by making alternative arrangements for their energy within the period of the maintenance. Supply will be restored as soon as the maintenance is completed.

Jos DisCo: Vigilante apprehends 12 energy vandals in Bauchi, Gombe

A statement signed by the Head of Corporate Communications, Jos Electricity Distribution Company, Dr. Friday Adakole Elijah has indicated that 12 electricity vandals have been apprehended by men of the Vigilante group in Bauchi and Gombe State. Elijah said the vandals were caught after the new managing director, Engr. Abdu Bello Mohammed synergized with security agencies promising to work with them as partners in progress. Giving the break down, the Spokesman for Jos DisCo said in Bauchi, the suspected vandals numbering eight had succeeded in vandalising 300KVA substation at Yankari, 33kV Feder in Alkaleri Local Government Area by cutting 30 meters of 70mm2 and 6 meters of 150 mm3 as well as draining the transformer oil. https://sundiatapost.com/jos-disco-vigilante-apprehends-12-energy-vandals-in-bauchi-gombe/
