Driven by the passion for better service delivery and as a recommendation by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, Jos Electricity Distribution PLC has commissioned a new Customer Care Office along Murtala Mohammed way, Jos, Plateau state.

Unveiling the office today, The Chief Executive Officer (JED) PLC Engr. Uday Mishra expressed optimism that the development will continue, he stated “the company is undergoing a revamp both on its structures and processes. Today we are commissioning a customer care office, but I assure you, with this wind of change, tomorrow we will be celebrating and celebrated as the best distribution company in Nigeria and beyond. I urge all customers to properly utilize the office.

Also speaking, the executive Director Maketing & Investment Mr. Verr Jirbo expressed satisfaction stating “I am always glad when I see a development that seek to address and resolve customer complaints. We need to constantly keep in our minds that customer satisfaction is the only way we can achieve both our mission and vision. This is commendable, I can see that the office is well-arranged for customers comfort, the office is also well furnished with the required ICT tools to better resolve customer’s complaints.

Meanwhile, in attendance was the representative of NERC, Gangare community ably represented by the Mai Ungwa, the leader of the community Vigilante Group, the representative of the Area Commander, Nigeria police, and a representative of Department of Security Services.

The Chief Commercial Officer/Head, Customer Complaint & Relationship Management Engr. Sachin Kumar & MR. A. Lucky in their closing remarks, thanked the management of JED PLC for the determination it has shown for customer satisfaction. This they said would go a long way to help the company serve its esteemed customers better and will retain our position as one of the best DisCos in terms of customer complaints resolution.
