JOS DISCO URGE CUSTOMERS IN BUKURU REGION TO BE PATIENT
The Management of Jos Electricity Distribution PLC has called on her Customers in Bukuru Town, Angwa Doki, Bukuru Low cost and Sabon Bariki not to be despaired as a result of the current outages in The areas.
The call was contained in a press release by the Head Corporate Communications, Dr. Friday Adakole Elijah.
The Spokesman of the company attributed the power blackout to failed critical distribution equipment at the Bukuru 2X15MVA, 33/11KV injection substation.
He disclosed that a team of Engineers from the headquarters were working assiduously round the clock with the Bukuru Regional engineers to fix the defects with the zeal to restoring power supply to the areas.
Dr Elijah who said that the company regretted inconveniences caused by the outage disclosed that JED PLC sincerely apologise to her esteemed customers in the areas and called for their understanding and patience.
He assured that Electricity Supply would be restored to the affected areas as soon as the repairs were completed.

The management of Jos Electricity Distribution PLC has assured Customers in Katagum Emirate Council and those in Gombe State that the company has increased the hours of Electricity Supply to their domains.
A press release by the Head, Corporate Communications, Dr Friday Adakole Elijah, said the increment was as a result of out cry by members of the aforementioned Communities.
According to the spokesperson, Jos Electricity Distribution PLC now has a new Chief Executive Officer in the person of Engr Hashim Ibrahim Bakori who is eagerly willing to satisfy Customers.
He explained that, "Engr Hashim in the spirit of Customers being the king is willing to carry along all company's stakeholders".
Dr Elijah therefore urged Customers in the respective areas to monitor the improvements in energy Supply with the view to reciprocating the gesture by promptly paying for their consumed energy.
